Beauty: The Feelist Pt. 2
Hi friends!
I’m back with a new beauty review. This week, I had the chance to try two new products by The Feelist. Founded by OG fashion blogger, Shea Marie, The Feelist is a plant powered beauty brand that creates multi-functional skincare essentials.
Juice Shot: Smoothing Facial Polish
If you’ve tried the body creams by The Feelist, you’ll recognize the tube packaging that’s consistent for the brand. Perfect for travel or a quick fix on the go, the Juice Shot Smoothing Facial Polish is packed with hydrating botanical ingredients and Apricot seed powders to gently exfoliate the skin. In terms of formulation, here is my review:
Pros:
Juice shot smells like summer! The formula smells naturally sweet and fruity, almost like a sorbet but not overly fragrant. It’s like a mini spa getaway in a tube.
The cranberry and apricot seeds give the facial polish just the right amount of texture without being overly abrasive.
The baobab seed extract helps soothe and moisturize the skin, so even though the formula is exfoliating, it’s not drying out the skin.
Con:
I don’t have too many cons regarding this facial scrub. I think it’s a great pick-me-up for those who like a little grainy exfoliation every so often. I love the smell of this product so much, I wish it came in other forms like a mask or a night cream.

Total Package: Youth Protecting Serum
The perfect follow up after exfoliating, the Total Package serum is super hydrating without feeling filmy or oily. Compared to The Feelist’s Most Wanted Facial Oil , I actually like the Total Package better. It’s lighter, less fragrant, and less oily but in a good way. Here are my thoughts after a few applications:
Pros:
A great everyday serum for a little extra pep. Lightly scented and packed with all sorts of exotic botanical ingredients.
Non-pore clogging. Since it’s a serum and not an oil, Total Package has a fresh watery-like texture that quickly absorbs into the skin rather than staying on the surface.
Soothing and calming properties. Arnica extract for anti-inflammation and puffiness, blue tansy oil for calming irritation, and chlorella for protecting against sun damage. For the full ingredients list, click here. There really is something for everyone in Total Package.
Cons:
Depending on your skin type and current climate, your skin might react more favorably to an oil rather than a serum or vice versa. Personally, I have dry and sensitive skin, so lightly scented or non-scented products tend to work the best for me. My only con is that depending on the weather, my skin might need something heavier, like a facial oil to combat dryness.
Overall, though I do like this product I haven’t used it long enough to know if it’ll truly become one of my essentials. So far, no notable cons to report!
Overall The Feelist’s Juice Shot and Total Package are a great skincare duo. I’ve been using both of these products for the past couple of days and I’ve had no complaints. As the weather starts to heat up, I’ll probably start shifting my skincare routine a bit to adjust for warmer weather, which means less heavy oils and more serums. I like to rotate my skincare between exfoliating, serums, and oils so that my skin isn’t get overly treated.
This sums up my latest beauty experience with The Feelist! Many thanks to Melissa for gifting these beautiful products to me to try. Note, I am not compensated in any way to write this blog post nor do I receive a commission if you do decide to make a purchase. These are simply my thoughts on my experience using these new products. If you have any additional questions regarding my review, feel free to leave a comment down below or send me a DM on IG :)
