Hello there,

Beauty: The Feelist

Beauty: The Feelist

The Feelist is a clean and incredibly chic skincare line by superstar influencer Shea Marie. Her most notable and insta-worthy product is the Most Wanted Radiant Facial Oil. With a CBD infused formula and cocktail of the best facial-worthy oils (Jojoba Seed Oil, Marula Oil, Rosehip Oil and Evening Primrose Oil), The Feelist’s Most Wanted Facial Oil is a skin treat worth trying.

Personally, I’ve never tried CBD infused skincare products before. With my very bare minimal understanding, I’ve heard that CBD infused lotions, creams, and oils are used to help with tense or sore muscles. As a once taboo or exotic product, CBD can now be found in almost anything and everything. From gummies to lip balm, cannabis can be apart of your everyday routine now if you so desire.

As a sucker for chic packaging, I adore modern yet iconic hexagonal bottle. For beauty lovers alike, the packaging isn't everything but it is part of the experience. The entire Feelist collection is beautifully packed in a way that’s both practical and elevated. I fully appreciate thoughtful packaging design and I think The Feelist nailed it.

In terms of the formulation, here are my pros and cons:

  • Pros:

    • Upon application, the oil feels a bit heavy at first, but it absorbs nicely and leaves a lasting ‘dewy’ effect.

    • The facial oil is very moisturizing. A little goes a long way.

    • Ideal for evening skincare routines. I find that the oil is best applied at night to be fully absorbed.

    • Because the formula is packed with a variety of facial oils, the Most Wanted Radiant Facial Oil is a great ‘one and done’ for your skincare routine.

  • Cons:

    • The scent is a bit too strong for me. I realize that most of my skincare is either unscented or lightly scented. It makes sense that the Most Wanted Radiant Facial Oil would be more heavily scented since the formula is packaged with a variety of facial oils. For those who are sensitive to scents, this may not be the best product for you or rather it’s something that you could use in small increments.

    • Since my skin overall is on the dry side, I think that this oil is best for winter skin. Because it’s nearly Summer, I find that using this type of facial oil that’s on the richer side can make my skin feel more oily than dewy (a way to combat this is by simply using less product or I like to alternate between different oils/serums). Depending on your skin type, this oil might be too rich for you or you might prefer to use less drops.

Staycation is a ‘Detoxifying Salt Soak’ that helps create an entire at-home spa experience. I recently created my own at-home bath experience with the Staycation salt soak, freshly cut lemons, coconut oil, and fresh basil. The full effect smelled like a fresh Summer day and felt super soothing. The salt has notes of lavender and vanilla while the coconut oil helps moisturize my skin both during and after the bath. Overall, I think that The Feelist’s Staycation Salt Soak is a wonderful self-care product for any occasion.

Many thanks to Melissa for reaching out and gifting me this set on behalf of The Feelist. I loved exploring the world of CBD infused beauty and I can’t wait to see what The Feelist releases next.

Note: Even though I was lucky enough to receive the Necessity Body Cream and Do Not Disturb Extra Strength Body Cream, I have yet to actually apply it on my own skin. If you have eczema or sensitive skin like me, I try to avoid introducing a bunch of new products to my skin or face all at once (I have done it before, then a day or two later, I regret it). So stay tuned for my full review of these body creams. Thank you for reading and I hope you had a lovely weekend!

xx
