Style: Springtime Milkmaid

Even though the first day of Spring isn’t until March, it very much feels like Spring here in Redondo Beach. The hummingbirds are chirping, my California Poppy seeds are sprouting, and the skies are crystal clear.

Cottage core has been one of my favorite aesthetics and trends since last Spring. Vintage silk slips, eyelet blouses, and handmade handkerchiefs all embody the soul of the romanticized Cottage Core girl. For this look, I’m wearing a crop top by one of my favorite brands, Are You Am I, eyelet shorts from Free People, and a hair scarf I made myself out of extra fabric from one of my old up-cycling projects.

I still have to catch up on the latest Paris Fashion Week Shows. So Far, I’ve watched Valentino, Chanel, and Area. I’m thinking of doing some fashion sketches this weekend of my favorite looks as well. What are your favorite trends this Spring?
