Chanel Beauty: Poudre Lumière Glacée

Chanel Beauty: Poudre Lumière Glacée

Every so often, I develop particular obsessions. My obsessions can span from brands, trends, to unique vintage finds. As of last year, my latest obsession is Chanel beauty. As the most iconic couture house, Chanel is one of the most coveted luxury fashion brands. Though I know that I could have purchased something similar for less, I was adamant about owning something with the timeless Chanel logo.

After watching dozens of unboxing videos, beauty vlogger reviews, and asking a few friends about their thoughts on Chanel Beauty, I finally decided on the Poudre Lumière Glacée. It was a risky pick since there was only a single, lack-luster review of the product on Chanel Beauty’s website and very few reviews elsewhere online, but since I wasn’t ready to spend upwards of $70+ for an Illuminating Powder compact, I settled for the Poudre Lumière Glacée.

As far as unboxings go, opening up my first Chanel Beauty package was the highlight of my holiday season. After doing so much of my own research, I was finally treating myself to something I had my heart set on and it was so worth it. The compact and brush each come in their own little velvet dust bags and my order also included two mini samples.

The powder is pretty translucent with a dainty shimmer. Since I don’t typically wear a full face of makeup, I’ll mostly be using this powder to soften my T-zone and highlight the tops of my cheekbones. Overall, I’m very happy with my first Chanel Beauty purchase and I can’t wait to add to my collection!
