Style: Staycation Summer

All dressed up and no where to go. Again. Even though the reasons to get all dressed up are far and few between, I still enjoy putting on some makeup and wearing the clothes that make me feel beautiful for a change.

I found this Reformation dress for around $30 at a Nordstrom Rack a few years back and it still remains to be one of my favorite finds. Reformation has perfected the feminine silhouette for their dresses and though they faced some backlash this Summer due to internal diversity and race issues, I hope they continue to learn from the feedback of customers, past and present employees to build a more inclusive and ethical brand.

The bag is vintage Salvatore Ferragamo. It’s one of the bags that my mom owned but never really used and it’s in perfect condition. I absolutely love how the bag has both a shoulder strap and short handle; it makes it so much easier to carry around when I’m trying to hold a million things.

To complete the look, I used a vintage scarf wrapped as a headband. I’m so in love with Louis Vuitton’s monogram scarf with the logo hardware. It’s such a timeless accessory that transitions perfect from Summer to Fall.

What were some of your favorite brands this Summer? I’m always looking to shop sustainable as well! Let me know what your favorite sustainable brands are in the comments down below.
