Aesthetics in Motion: Pt. 2
Aesthetics in Motion: Pt 2 is here
After gathering all of the footage from the end of the Summer, I finally pieced together a second video for my Aesthetics in Motion series. For this video, I was inspired by the beautiful places I was able to visit over the Summer and my own backyard. From flower fields at Underwood Farms to running barefoot down Pasadena City Hall, I feel so lucky to be able to experience beauty, even during such dark times.
Currently, while I shoot for the blog, I’ll take a videos or two on my phone. I like to capture the slow movement of the look that I’m wearing. I know fashion bloggers have taken over tik tok, but personally I don’t see myself joining another social media platform that I could potentially get addicted to. Then again, I was a slow adapter to join Facebook back when it was “cool” in high school, so who knows.
This video series continues to serve as a mini video diary into my world of fashion, beauty, and aesthetics. It brings me so much joy to create something beautiful with an interpretive story behind it. As the video progresses, I focused on pulling visuals that evoke daydreams, longing, and adventure. Thematically, I very much aspired to celebrate elements like femininity, minimalism, and nature. In the end, I hope that something resonates with you or at least, you might find this video soothing enough to play in the background. Music is by artist WMD.
Many thanks to my dear friends who helped me film some moments that I could not film myself. Dave Meyer, Julia Agahee, and Kiley Rickman, thank you for helping me capture these magical moments this Summer!
Enjoy the video!
xx
