Aesthetics in Motion: Pt. 1

Aesthetics in Motion was inspired by the beauty of slowing down. By slowing down in life, we notice the little things. There is beauty all around us that thrives and flourishes; we just need to take a moment to appreciate it. I filmed the majority of the video by myself with a tripod using my iPhone. When I re-watched the footage I had taken, I realized that I don’t need much to create something beautiful out of nothing. By using the Slo-Mo feature on my camera, I tried to capture some simple moments of bliss. From the liquid like flow of a hand-me-down silk dress to the pink highlights in a sunset, I wanted to capture moments that reveal the most beautiful things in life are simple and free.
