Style: Fall Romance
When all else fails, look to love.
I’m getting married! Just kidding. But if I was to elope, I imagine my bridal look would be similar. One of my dream jobs is to be a bridal model. It’s all the fun of dressing up without the stress of planning an actual wedding.
The original concept for the shoot was not bridal initially; however, this crochet skirt is one of the most romantic and impractical pieces that I own, so whenever I have a chance to wear it, I jump on it. My photographer friend, Kiley Rickman, suggested we meet at Pasadena City Hall to take these pictures. It was literally a hundred degrees outside and I felt sticky from sweating, but the photos turned out amazing, so the sweat was worth it.
Walking through the curved halls and the garden, I almost felt like I was transported to Europe. It was a welcome change of scenery from the norms of being at home. So many things come to mind when I think about Europe, but mainly I hope to be able to travel there again and experience everything each region has to offer.
Fun fact: Pasadena City Hall is also Pawnee City Hall from Parks and Recreation! Don’t believe me? Click here to learn more. Shout out to Kiley for amazing trivia :)

Thrifted corset top
Crochet skirt from LF (bought a few years ago)

Hair claw clip from Anthropologie
I’ve heard quite a few couples either have or are planning on eloping this year due to the unexpected nature of COVID. If you are, what do you plan to wear? If you’re not planning on eloping anytime soon like me, what would you wear?
