Unboxing: The Pa/rt Universal Skin Spray

Beauty is multi-dimensional, multi-faceted, and ever-changing.

I stumbled upon The Pa/rt through the rabbit holes of Instagram this past year. The website was founded by sisters, Emily & Hannah, to explore “multicultural beauty and universal well-being”.

At first glance, I was highly intrigued by the branding and curated selection of faces they featured on their Instagram page. Their following seemed small, but significant and I absolutely loved how each girl shared personal thoughts about how ethnicity and beauty intersect. Everyone has a story to tell and in many ways, it’s these very stories that bring us closer together.

After discovering The Pa/rt, I decided to submit myself to be featured. Naturally, I’m sure they get hundreds if not thousands of submissions, so I never heard back. I didn’t really think much about it until I got a DM from The Pa/rt saying that they were releasing their first ever wellness product and that they wanted to see if I was interested in trying it out. The product is a universal spray created with hypochlorous acid(HOCl) to help “boost repair and protection” for the skin. I was terrible at chemistry, so I had no idea what HOCI means for skin, but if anything I was curious.

Upon receiving my first little “gifted” package, I was immediately in love with the branding. I am a HUGE sucker for beautiful, modern branding and packaging. The Pa/rt absolutely nailed it. I already know I’ll be using the canvas tote for all my grocery and coffee shop runs. The universal spray comes in a sleek white box packaged in a little glass bottle. The packaging is so minimalist yet chic; it will perfectly fit into anyone’s beauty routine or bathroom shelf.

The spray itself is very light. It has a light ocean spray scent and just feels like it’s waking up my skin. I tested it out on my legs first, just to see how my skin would react and so far I really like it. The spray feels clean and fresh. It’s a lovely product to just give your skin a little pep or boost throughout the day.
