Carefree, at least for the moment

Carefree, at least for the moment

What happens when adulting kills the kids inside of you?

As a kid, you have vacation nearly every season: Summer, Winter, and Spring. There's time to explore, worry, experiment, and do things you're not suppost to be doing. But what happens when you grow up? What will you say when people ask you, "So what do you want to do with your life?". By the time the graduation confetti falls, you'd think I'd have answers, but I don't.

The truth is, I want to do a bunch of things. I love going on adventures, taking pictures, and posting them here for you to see and interpret. I love blogging and even if no one reads, comments, or likes every little thing that I post, I've discovered that this platform is a place where I can create my own world and fill it with things that inspire me. The concept of doing just one thing for years at a time freaks me out. Having a cliche desk job and letting the time slip by is one of my worst nightmares. So when people ask me, "Where do you see yourself in five year?" my truthful answer is, I see myself in a place where I'm super passionate about what I do, and whatever I'm doing, I'm sure it consists of being creative and working with charismatic people. Maybe I will end up having a desk job, but it's not about where I am, it's about what I'm creating.

Orange Glow...There's not a lot of photo editing here. Now that I'm so tan, my iphone thinks I'm orange!

I'm sure adulting is not all that bad and for once in my life, I'm in control of doing whatever it is I want to do whenever I want to do it. There is no one telling me, "Do this, to get an A" or "Take this class because someone in a department said so". Instead, the safety net of school is gone and from here on out, I have to figure out my place in the world.

They say you are the most carefree while you're young..."The world is your oyster, kid". They're not wrong. There's so much to discover, create, explore, and share. I'm all about it and I hope you are too.
