Seven Magic Mountains

Seven Magic Mountains

Out in the distance... what is that? Are they fruity pebbles? Giant Totem Poles? Or maybe neon graffiti art?

Nope, they're just giant, brightly painted rocks in the middle of the desert.

On our way back from Vegas, my friends and I stopped off at Seven Magic Mountains. Ever since this art installation started popping up in my IG feed, I just knew I had to see it for myself. It was incredible experiencing this art installation for the first time. The rocks are so fun and each tower has its own personality. Many thoughts go through my head like: How did the rocks get here? How did they stack them so high? What inspired the artist to do this, and does it have any meaning?

Today, the best kind of art can be shared and experienced. This kind of art evokes imagination and transcends the impossible. Some people may raise their noses and refuse to call it art, but if it's not art, then what is it? The definition of art has always been controversial to say the least. But to me, art is anything that someone creates to make you feel something. This, of course, is a very broad definition and vague, but art can be in all forms from music to dance to theatre to digital video. How do you define art? And what does it mean to you?
