Art runs in our blood. It may sound like an extremely cliche statement, but if you think about it, why wouldn't art run in our blood. If the latter is proven false, then why should the first be deemed impossible?
A visit to LACMA is a cultural awakening. Despite my countless visits to LACMA, I always find amazement in something new. Of course, as glorious as the new things are, it is pieces like the steel Band by Richard Serra and Urban Light by Chris Burden that make the visit feel timeless. Art is uncanny like that. It's the one element in our society that is not only universal, but also highly subjective. That's what makes it the most fascinating. Communication through art simply requires a willing audience and an artist willing to inspire.
